Timothy Hogan
I’ve always built things.
Today, I believe that human-made artifacts are more important than ever. The blood, sweat, and tears that go into a piece of handmade furniture are an energetic extension of the maker himself.
My work is about material authenticity, proportion, and timelessness.
I work with a variety of Western and Japanese hand tools, plus modern machinery. My design influences are wide-ranging, from the organic forms of George Nakashima to mid-century design.
If you’re thinking about a piece, or just want to say hi, drop me a note. You’re welcome to stop by the shop too, just let me know first, and I’ll tidy up a bit.
